THE 2011 WORLD CHEESE AWARDS IS NOW OPEN FOR ENTRIES.
More than 200 leading cheese buyers, retail experts, chefs and food journalists will judge at the awards this year which will be staged in a dedicated hall alongside the famous BBC Good Food Show.
The World Cheese Awards has continued to grow for over 20 years. Last year, the awards reached new heights by securing a Guinness World Records title for the World’s Largest Cheeseboard .
John Farrand, director of the Guild of Fine Food, the organiser of the World Cheese Awards, said: “The World Cheese Awards 2011 will be an irresistible magnet to every cheese lover. Never before will so many cheeses, entered by international cheese-makers not UK whole sellers or retailers, have been on offer for tasting by British consumers.”
